Why Delamill exists
I'm Simon Millington, founder of Delamill Wellbeing Solutions. I work with organisations across Kent and London, helping leaders build workplaces where people stay well and stay with them.
Delamill began after I lost a close friend to suicide in 2018. I won't dress that up, and I won't lean on it either. It is simply why this work matters to me, and why I refuse to let wellbeing be a tick-box exercise. The rest of this page is about what that means for you.
What I believe
Most workplace wellbeing fails because it tries to fix the people and leaves the work untouched. I don't believe people need fixing. I believe they need support, a simple system they can actually use, and managers who are equipped to lead.
That's the whole idea behind SHEDS, the framework I created: Sleep, Hydration, Exercise, Diet and Stress. Five plain words, one shared language, used consistently. Not perfectly. Just consistently.
My job is to support and empower your people, never to take charge of their lives. I'm the guardrail, not the driver.
How I work
Plain, warm and practical. No jargon, no lectures, no off-the-shelf decks.
I meet your team where they are, and I tell you honestly what would help and what wouldn't, even when that means recommending the smaller option.
